In all fairness, it all depends on WHO it is that is offering the endorsement. If we as conservatives see our own instincts validated by the views of more prominent conservatives (my earlier example up thread of Cruz, Palin, Sessions and Virgil Goode) who endorse or at least refrain from any criticism of Trump, I think that is a legitimate factor to take into account. I agree wholeheartedly with you that we SHOULD think for ourselves, however part of that thinking process should include an inventory of who supports the candidate we're considering. For example, you just enlightened me to Allen West supporting Snarly Fiorino and that does cause me to put at least an asterisk next to his name in my mental catalog of conservatives I admire.

Quite frankly, while our Esteemed Founder has not at this point come out to support any one particular candidate, he has stated that in his view, it is "Trump or Cruz, all the others are amnesty pimps" and I agree 100 percent with him.

In any event, thanks again for the update/education on Allen West, I still like him a lot but his support for iSnarly does perplex me.
