Funny, but they all seem to support E-Verify, which requires that exact thing.
Ted, there is no registry. Just stop.
So how long before there will be a national registry for Christians for the government to keep tabs on them ?
Because knowing the abuse of power of government this is where this will lead to.
The US Constitution protects us from this sort of thing.
As a matter of policy, until we get the entire visa/foreign tourist mess fixed, I would agree with tracking Muslim visas and tourists until the remainder of the system is fixed and we track EVERY visa/tourist. They are not US citizens and aren’t entitled to being trusted.
On the video I saw, Cruz beat back the press and completely refused to engage on the issue. I’m not going to sit through another video but this just seems like just another false attack.
If you are a temporary or permanent resident or apply for citizenship, I believe they already know your religion (you must fill it in).
If you are a resident or just a visa holder, you have to tell the immigration/customs agent at the point of entry where you are going.
If a resident, you also have to submit a form to the USCIS for a change in address within 10 days of the move.
If you are illegally in the US, you don’t have to do anything, but you can apply for and get welfare.
There are reasons people who do everything legally DON’T like what illegals do, in addition to fear illegals have ties to crime both in the US and in the country from which they came.
Again Cruz shows the reporter he is smarter than he is.
The govt already has the data on everyone in the country and what religion everyone is. Now how is and will that data be used?
