“Trump, in fact, does know a lot about wind”
Probably true, but WaPo, Murdoch and the WSJ hold a doctorate in “wind”
Who cares?
He’s going to build a wall and stop this invasion.
The lefties have given Iowa all kinds of free goodies, which makes it rather difficult for conservatives to run there for nomination. Wind farms, ethanol subsidies, etc., etc. They’ve been bought off. Maybe that stuff can be undone, but it would be deadly to tell the Iowa voters that before the election, regrettably.
“Trump worried would ruin the views.”
If he mentioned all the birds these things kill the libs would have loved him.
No subsides for anything period.
What a crock. The WaPo in action again. No touch Obama who is deliberately destroying the demographic of America, but urinate on Trump about wind farms....so obvious.
So he said he can appreciate the concept of subsidies for such—but not for a country with the debt we have.
I’d say he answered admirably.
More intentional distortion from the MSM.
Trump knows how the wind blows.
There are many wind turbines in the Coachella Valley (Palm Springs) along the Banning Pass corridor wind tunnel.
They kill predator birds and/or scare them away. Rodents proliferate.
Ignore Iowa. Its a nothing burger. Candidates who win Iowa have a 50/50 chance at the nomination. As others wrote, they have been bought off.
Ignore Iowa.
The city of Addison, TX spent 6 million dollars to build a water tower, of which 1.1 million was spent on wind turbines on top of it to power the thing. The put a classrooom in the bottom to teach the kiddies all about wind energy... a classic Liberal boondoggle.
Now they are having to pay $112,000 to remove said turbines due to damage. It seems that they went up there to perform regular maintenance and found they were all shot up. Realizing they were a danger to the populace as they were no longer structurally sound, they had to anchor them down to prevent them from flying off with the wind and decapitating someone.
1.2 million dollars pissed in the wind for a liberal “feel good” project at the taxpayer’s expense.
