French citizens were sitting ducks last Friday. For at least 10 uninterrupted minutes, terrorists mowed down attendants at Paris' Bataclan Concert Hall. In five other coordinated attacks, terrorists were given far too much time to go about their business.
But European politicians are in denial.
French President Francois Hollande immediately ordered 1,500 additional soldiers to protect the streets of Paris. After January's Charlie Hebdo massacre in Paris, France placed 10,000 uniformed soldiers in front of Jewish sites across the country. These troops gave only the illusion of protection.
Israel learned this lesson the hard way. In its first decades of existence, the nation responded to attacks by placing more soldiers and armed police on streets.
Unfortunately, a mass killer can target the uniformed officers first or wait for a moment when they are not present. It didn't matter how much money Israel spent. With a little patience, terrorists would find their moments to strike. . . .

Islamos don’t seem to be too worried about them.
From the country which gifted us "Lady Liberty" and whose flag shares our colors, blue/white/red....
There should have been much more of StuckMojo type patriotism than the sappy enthusiastic renditions of ..."Oh Happy Day" we beheld online. WTH???!!!
Though appropriate for church services or campfires..."Oh Happy Day" is not appropriate during a memorial for slaughtered innocents who were dining, strolling the avenue or attending a heavy metal concert - all normal mundane activities which had nothing to do with expressing their faith in Christ or personal affectations towards Islam.
There were other similar inappropriate reactions by that clueless mob of kumbaya nincompoops - such as:
5 yr. old Brandon: "But there's bad guys, daddy? Father: Yes, but there are bad guys everywhere. Brandon: They have guns. They can shoot us because they're really, really mean daddy. Father They might have guns, but we have flowers.
!!!!!
And if you think for one second that such a ludicrous sense of 'security' is reserved for the wee bairns...think again!
I just watched the video footage of one of the Café attacks in Paris. The customers and employees hit the deck for cover, several went down stairs behind the bar. After the attack, they reemerged holding only cell phones in an attempt to call in “guys with guns” to save them. I think it would be better if they came up the stairs returning fire - but that’s so “John Wayne” - not what Euro’s and liberals in this country want to emulate.
Good find! Thanks for posting!
Not only in denial, the French Foreign Minister called Trump a “vulture” for suggesting that armed French citizens might have reduced the carnage.
I have a very simple rule. If my gun isn’t welcome, I don’t go there.
If some of the patrons had concealed weapons it may have turned out much differently.
If you only go where your gun is welcome, you'll probably never need to take it -- you'll enjoy collateral protection from all the other CCW's in the place.
I follow the same rule.
If you haven’t visited Europe by this point in your life, it is now too late. Europe is lost to islamic savage cockroach swine.
I've been there a number of times and lived there as a kid. My sister lives there, but I have no intention of going back there.
...and everything else.
Heartless, but a fact:
In the game of ISIS terrorists versus French citizens...
ISIS: kills 129 people
ISIS: wounds hundreds
ISIS: wins bragging rights
Defenseless French people: 129 dead, hundreds wounded
Winner: ISIS!
ISIS would never have gotten anywhere close to those numbers, if France allowed its citizens to carry guns. In ‘gun free zones’, it’s usually those with guns that inflict the most damage.
