Cruz supporters tend to overlook all of his previous positions and hear things in his current positions that he didn’t exactly say.
Since they refuse to read Trump’s positions or listen to him or all of us when we post the information, they are sure that Cruz said it all first and best. I’ve given up pointing that out to them.
When Trump made his announcement speech I wrote down point by point the positions he took. He was saying exactly the same thing as Ted Cruz. I pointed that out here at FR. It puzzled me why Trump was running instead of supporting Cruz. The only things that Cruz supported that Donald left out were religious liberty and abolishing the IRS.
