I have heard claims that ISIS is trucking the oil into Iraq (Putin is bombing the tanker trucks). I assume the oil is “laundered” by selling it as Iraqi oil. Someone in Iraq’s refinery or oil storage facilities is getting rich facilitating this fraud, shouldn’t be hard to find out who.

ISIS is trucking the oil into Iraq

ISIS is in Iraq with some control of oil production areas. They have had control of one of the larger refineries but was pushed back out.

Turkey is a bigger buyer of their oil for use in their own refineries.

This latest post confirms my suspicions:

... Iraq's output in 2015 has jumped almost 500,000 barrels per day (bpd), or 13 percent, according to the International Energy Agency (IEA).

An increase of half a million barrels per day? How?
