Trump does need to stop taking cheap shots at Dr. Ben Carson. Carson is doing sufficient damage to himself without Trump piling on.
If Trump would just say Carson would make an awesome Surgeon-General or a cabinet post such as HHS, it would go a long way toward mollifying some of the Carson people who are turned off by Trump's brassy style.

People are, at least, getting used to what is Trump’s style. If Trump did something like that towards Dr. Carson, it would hardly be the first time Trump has blasted someone and then made up.

The media was using Carson to try to propel Bush/Rubio. You’ll see Trump attacking Bush/Rubio by keeping Carson down.
