.... Morales, who had been wearing a monitoring bracelet after he was charged with child rape back in May.

****************************************

Just curious ... what’s his immigration status? I didn’t see any reference to it in the article, not that the media would mention if he was illegal or something other than an American citizen.

Probably puts the charge into the “felony” column, instead of breaking and entering and simple theft.

That changes most of the rules of arrest and confinement.

Nah, it’s a south of the border thing. No age of consent in Mexico.

Arms Rooms must be constructed to conform with a set of physical security specifications. If this arms room met the standards, refitting all of the arms rooms, especially in facilities that do not have a 24 hour presence will have to be done. Big $

I'm not sure on all the break-in parts, but the arms vault at most armories actually has only ok standards. From the data form on the door, they only are guaranteed to protect against covert entry for an hour, forced entry for 30min, something like that? Any other door/locks getting to the vault usually aren't nearly as tough (deadbolt, chain-link fence w/ padlock, etc). Vault ceiling is reinforced concrete, not sure what else. Of course, those numbers are for someone who has the equipment and knows what they're doing. Joe Schmoe would obviously have a longer time getting in, so I'm guessing there was something faulty at this armory, or from the link: "and then climbed on top of the vault before cutting a hole through its ceiling, which is made of several layers of metal and wood." I don't know the official standards, but a couple layers of wood and metal (plus a 10 hour!? alarm response time) seem like someone wasn't taking security too seriously.

Yep, I think that’s why Al Capone and Bonnie and Clyde liked to shop at National Guard Armories.

Are you sure it is not Coeur d’Alene, IDAHO? I don’t think there is one in Iowa, but not 100% sure.

Looks like another of obama's sons. Child rapist out wandering the streets. Bet those weapons end up being found after a terrorist attack on US soil or a the very least a drive by black on black in Chicago.
