One young student at Georgia Southern University (GSU) is learning the consequences for publicly criticizing the racially-charged protests at the University of Missouri after being fired from her job and having a number of her fellow classmates demand her expulsion.
Emily Faz, a senior at the public university, shared a November 14 Washington Times article on Monday that reported on how some Mizzou protesters and Black Lives Matter activists were upset that the Paris attacks were stealing the media spotlight.
Faz wrote above the link, âI swear if I see this B.S. at Southern I will make you regret even knowing what a movement or a hashtag is, and youâll walk away with your tail tucked.â
She continued on to say, âThe whole black lives matter movement is misguided and out of hand. Maybe no one likes or takes yâall seriously because no one can see past your egotistical bullshit. Some people might just look past it, but fair warning I am not one. All lives matter, that has always been the case, and you part of the problem if you think other wise [sic].â

According to the WJCL 22, that post soon went viral at the GSU campus and infuriated some African-American students who took the post as a threat. Responses to Fazâs opinion on Twitter were fierce.
The GSU NAACP staged a âBlack Out, Walk Outâ on Tuesday in response to Fazâs post and issued demands to the school. Those demands included hiring more black professors and expanding the African Studies program. âI think itâs important to know the difference between freedom of speech and a threat, and it seems like when it comes from a white student at this school, that sometimes the line is being blurred because of who it comes from,â KeyAnna Tate, a participant in the walk out, told the Statesboro Herald. Some of these student activists called for Faz to be expelled and the school president, Jean Bartels, issued a statement on the matter and acknowledged the numerous calls for disciplinary action to be taken against the offending co-ed. Bartels appeared to conclude Fazâs post was protected by the First Amendment and could not result in punishment. However, the young student appears to have lost her job at the local Wild Wing Cafe franchise over the controversy, according to Everything Georgia. Some activists had urged supporters to call the restaurant about Faz prior to her dismissal.
Faz 2016.
So many of these college students don’t like the freedom of speech anymore. I would be okay if they just shut the heck up.
If you had to pick a place to stir up the wrong trouble, with the wrong crowd....this might be the university. Things could get way out of hand and I could see classes cancelled for the remainder of the semester. What idiot parent would be willing to pay $20,000 a year for the kid to be in some stupid school with ‘problems’?

I remember reading some of 1984 years ago, I think it is a good time for me to finish that book.
Now this woman is the victim of discrimination...for speaking her mind.
Good for her. I don’t think she’ll have trouble finding another job - plenty of conservative business owners out there. Heck, I’d make a position for her at my office just to tick off the socialist crybabies.
I know the drill
Moe to Joe: Don’t do me wrong, I believe in justice.
Joe to Moe: You threatened me!
If qualified, I would hire this brave young woman in a second.
Nazi’s. let them hear it loud and often because they won’t hesitate to label any one of us given half a chance.
Crybullies.
Exactly. Let’s link in the Greenfield column.

If they’d only take take time to read the Constitution they’re so willing to trash, they’d learn that the freedom of assembly is right there alongside the freedom of expression. They’ve clearly never heard of the law of unintended consequences.
I think that it would be great if someone were to create a list of all theses people that support Black lives mater so employers would know who not to hire or to put into any positions of authority......we could call this a black list....
Wow that would be unfair sort of like getting someone fired and expelled for having an opinion.....I do think that those individuals who are involved with this should realize that with the age of the internet a lot off corporations are going to be looking at there political activities and not hiring them when they graduate because the last thing you want is an entitled 20 something in your company.
Would do no good for the great majority of them. These people are only concerned with themselves and their group (other blacks). They're not concerned with rules, laws, or what happens to non-blacks. They are unAmerican and true fascists. They should either shape up (unlikely), or be penalized harshly.
The black lives matter people are not nice...
Great Graphic
