Yes and that’s a real problem. How can an American president get by for so long pretending he doesn’t recognize the obvious enemy when the enemy has been actively at war with us for decades? Why has he not been impeached? How many more innocents must die before we take effective action?
Yes, that’s pretty much the way I remember the story. Sounds like this is a grudge match gone to the extreme. A gigantic clash of civilizations caused by jealousy and greed and lust for revenge? And if they ever get nukes, I wonder if it would bring about Armageddon?

I’ve heard it said that what they mean by peace is that the world will be at peace after the Muslims conquer and dominate all the lands on earth. Don’t see how that’s possible though. The various Muslim factions hate and slaughter each other too. Will they ever learn to live peacefully with their neighbors? Or even their own kind? Will wars and rumors of wars go on until the end? The left specializes in deceiving and manipulating people, as a means to gain power. They are constantly studying what stories work best to stir people up, or to shift their opinion. They have made a science of it.
Always polling and focus group testing their artfully worded slogans, they are the masters of rhetoric and emotional manipulation. Their favorite themes are race, class and gender.
By calling people racist, they have been able to confuse shame and silence many. With false claims to the moral high ground, they actually advance the immoral. For generations, they have pursued dominance in media and education to manipulate peoples’ views - the first area that American communists sought to unionize was the teachers in New York City.
They lie for a living, and the very best liars move up the highest in their party. Look at what exceptional liars Bill Clinton and Barack Obama are (although Obama’s seem to be coming apart in the face of some hard, unmistakable realities).
I think that is how they thought that they could get away with importing hordes of muslims and third worlders - that they could fool all the people, all the time. I believe that Obama is so full of himself, so full of hubris, that he far overestimated his own ability to fool the rest of us.
He has a religious-like faith in the superiority of the manipulation techniques of the left - he is a true believer in the leftist ideology, rather than a pragmatic politician, who shifts position with the emotional winds of the people.
