MANILA, Philippines — President Barack Obama lashed out Wednesday at Republicans who insist on barring Syrian refugees from entering the US, deeming their words offensive and insisting "it needs to stop."
"Apparently they're scared of widows and orphans coming into the United States of America," Obama said.
Mocking GOP leaders for thinking they're tough, Obama said overblown rhetoric from Republicans could be a potent recruitment tool for the Islamic State group.
He insisted that the US process for screening refugees for possible entry into the US was rigorous and said the US didn't make good decisions "based on hysteria" or exaggerated risk.
"We are not well served when in response to a terrorist attack we descend into fear and panic," the president said.
Obama's comments during a meeting with Filipino President Benigno Aquino marked his harshest condemnation yet of Republicans' response to the Paris attacks blamed on ISIS that killed 129 people last week.

Which begs the question "Why?". Do they think they will be spared? In fact the left has done so much to demonize their conservative countrymen that I am now in a state of mind that I don't know for sure if I would intervene to try and save one of them were they threatened with deadly harm from one of the ROP fanatics. It's is a sad state of our union that it has come to that.
Remember those two brothers that murdered their wealthy parents, and then tried to get some leniency from the court because they were orphans?

Yeah there’s something wrong with him. He’s the true hater. Hates freedom. Hates Liberty. Hates America as founded. Hates political opposition. In a way he just like the Muslims. Anyone not of the communistic left is considered an infidel to him. Hence the hatred of all things inherently American.
They taught us in law school that when your opponent starts referring to needing to help the orphans and widows, they know they have lost.

Obama wants Syrians to flee to Europe and the US so they can be ‘safe’ - live the good life. Likely on the taxpayers dime... Lots of pity and concern for Syrians.
Then he wants American’s men, women, and young people to put on military uniforms and go to Syria to die and be maimed.
Here’s a thought - why not buy a bunch of uniforms and tell Syrian men and women to defend their own damn country?
Obama once again deploying that heralded huge brain, formidable intellect, and devastating wit of his, always comes up with just the appropriate verbal beat-downs and electric cuts that render his opponents vanquished.
