Meanwhile, French authorities confirmed that two terror suspects have died - one shot, the other, a woman, blew herself up. A third suspect remains holed up in the apartment.

Christian, a neighbour in Saint Denis’ rue de la République has told BFMTV being woke up by gunfire at 4.20am and seeing police on the roof shooting into an apartment opposite. Later blasts smashed the windows in the flat and a mattress came out the window, writes Henry Samuel in Paris.

Europe and America are on critical alert for further terror attacks after two Air France planes were diverted mid-flight because of security threats, “concrete evidence†emerged of a planned attack on German soil, and police revealed a possible “ninth attacker†was involved in the Paris atrocities and still on the run.
Police in France believe it is possible another, previously unnoticed, terrorist, could still be at large, after reviewing CCTV footage of the Paris attacks that showed a third man in the black Seat car involved in the attack on bars in central Paris.
As investigations into the planning, execution, and aftermath of the Paris attacks continue, further details of the three co-ordinated assaults continue to emerge, including:
a mobile phone with a text message reading ‘On y va’ – ‘let’s go’ – found discarded in a rubbish bin near the Bataclan theatre. The phone also contained a map of the Bataclan theatre
conjecture over a possible planned, but aborted, attack in Paris’s 18th arrondissement. A statement from Isis claiming responsibility mentioned attacks in the 10th, 11th, and 18th arrondissements. A police source said three suspects had been arrested so far. A justice source said at least two had been killed, including a woman who blew herself up with a suicide belt.
