why would anyone on their right mind, or of any mind at all, take the number two spot on the ticket of an egomaniac like trump? not that the donald’s a bad guy, i just can’t think of a worse job

They balance each other out. Trump has business, good political instincts, great foreign policy and protecting America.

Cruz has in-depth knowledge of government process, knows the Constitution better than anyone.

As far as I’m concerned, it’s a Dream Team.

Not necessarily. Trump is a CEO and knows that a great company is run with a great team. He knows that Cruz has a great mind and knows the constitution and our laws. Cruz’s supreme court record has impressed Trump. If Trump is as smart as everyone says, and a great leader, he knows how valuable Cruz would be on his team and to his make America great again agenda. All based on IF Trump gets the nomination.
