Donald Trump is proving he will take extreme measures to protect America against Islamic terrorists.
The Republican presidential candidate said he would be open to shutting down mosques in the U.S. during an interview with "Morning Joe".
"I would hate to do it," Trump said. "But it's something that you're going to have to strongly consider."
"Because some of the ideas and some of the hatred — the absolute hatred — is coming from these areas," he continued.
"It's something that many people — it's not me — it's something that many people are considering, and many people are going to do," Trump said.
"The hatred is incredible. It's embedded. It's embedded. The hatred is beyond belief. The hatred is greater than anybody understands."
Trump is in favor of setting up surveillance at mosques to ensure no future terrorist attacks are being planned.
"You're going to have to watch and study the mosques," Trump said.
"Because a lot of talk is going on at the mosques. And from what I heard, in the old days — meaning a while ago — we had great surveillance going in and around mosques in New York City," he added.
"And I understand our mayor totally cut that out."

You’ve hit on something. We’ve got bear spray & pepper spray. Why not pig spray.
Every time the muslims riot, bring out the pig spray & hose them down. They will run like sheep.
Someone could make a fortune making/selling the stuff.
If Obama announced he was shutting down churches, the Left would be dancing in the streets because it’s all about power for the Left.
Then look for Americans to fight to take their churches back.
There could be little boxes scattered around like fire alarms.

I am all for freedom of religion; however Islam is different. It is the only religion whose stated goal is to replace our Constitution with Islamic theocracy and sharia law. They are an organized threat to our Constitution and our nation. No other such threat is tolerated; neither should Islam be tolerated in the US.
A Syrian Christian recently shared howe he thought his Muslim neighbors were his friends. Then he began to experience persecution and realized these people were never his friends.
Trump is the only candidate who is addressing the fact that islam is engaged in a war of world conquest and has been since its very conception. He must be the only living American politician who has bothered to read the koran and understood it.

After 1400 years of bloody experience all over the world and the mass murder, torture, and oppression of those who aren’t adherents of Islam (and a lot who are), we shouldn’t wonder what sort of sermons and lessons are preached in those mosques.
