Trump: Why I may have to go to war with Cruz...GOP front-runner puts Texas senator on notice

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump just put rival Ted Cruz on notice: Get too hot and I'll have to take you down.

Describing the senator from Texas as "nice and supportive," Trump told CNBC’s "Squawk Box" on Monday that the two candidates have similar ideas on many of the issues, including border security and the need for a wall to keep out illegal immigrants.

"[But] If he catches on, I guess we'll have to go to war," Trump said of Cruz, who's seen a bit of a bump nationally and in the early contest states of Iowa and New Hampshire since last week's Republican debate.

The rapid, mouth-foaming Cruzsters won't be able to handle it.

BWAHAHAHAHA!!! That's hilarious! I don't know about you, but I tend to foam at the mouth slowly. I suppose there are rapid foamers. I just don't happen to know any of them. ;)

I guess nopardons got the info he was requesting.

No, I got a senseless reply, that did NOT answer the question I asked.

I guess I am a medium foamer. Do the Trump supporters have a formula for foaming. Is it based on volume?, texture?, velocity?

I guess the foaming really got going when the Trump supporter claimed we "Cruzsters" were defecting to Bernie Sanders....... I am still laughing at that one.

that did NOT answer the question I asked.

Baloney. You very specifically asked for a case of where one of your kind had cited a "bastardized" form of our candidate.

I responded with at very specific , name and post #even on this specific thread How did I not answer the question?

Hmmmmm... Your question was:

And just WHAT bastardizations of Cruz's name has anyone supporting Trump used?

And catfish1957 said:

As and example and worse from CottonBalls post (n this thread no less) See above #23

The rapid, mouth-foaming Cruzsters won't be able to handle it. They'll probably vote for Bernie then.

And yet you are whining that you got a senseless reply. If you're referring to CottonBall, I can't argue with that. But catfish1957 answered your question.

Much ado about nothing. Trump or Cruz, it’s two routes to the same end. I’ve donated to Cruz, but I think Trump is more electable and able to operate outside the influence of Super Pac control.

These two are fighting for the nomination. They should be at war with each other in the political sense. Trump and his brawling style vs. Cruz and his soaring oratory is a great match. It’s going to be enjoyable, and if one of the two gets the nomination, we are light years ahead of a Rubio/Bush/Etc. GOPE lapdog.

It’s been a worry of mine that the Supreme Court, under pressure of all sorts from the GOPe/Dem alliance, would find Cruz ineligible if it looked like a close call for the Presidency. I wonder what they’d use against Trump when it looked like it was for all the chips?

I doubt that anyone is upset/bother/annoyed by being called a "Trupmster", which is the equivalent of "Cruzsters" and other such forms of Cruz's name, is hardly the same things as the examples I posted.

Are you really THAT obtuse?

They can't and won't find anything at all about Trump. He was born here and both of his parents were American citizens when he was born.

And there aren't any skeletons that they can dig up on him, no matter how hard they try. He has been a very public figure/in the news for many decades and IF there was something, it would have been splashed across many headlines long before now.

You'd better back off. I'm not the whiner because I haven't tattled on anyone to get posts pulled. Someone with skin as thin as Trump's did that.

And, although it's not any of your business, I'll tell you because you made some hateful assertions about me. No, I don't pay to play in this sandbox anymore, but it's not so that I can "ride on the backs of monthly FR donors." I never had much $ to give, but a costly bout with cancer precluded my being able to give.

Now, if you or Jane Long or any of your little snowflake buddies want to run to JimRob and tell him you got your feelings hurt, please feel free to do so. I have survived the big C and I know Jesus, and nothing scares me anymore. Except Trump as president.

The thing is, many people have an irrational hatred for NYC/New Yorkers and Trump is a New Yorker.

I don't hate New York. I actually like New York. I'm a northern, big-city guy myself. I grew up in Chicago, in the city. New York doesn't bother me at all about Trump.

And I don't have an "irrational hatred" of Trump. I have a very rational distrust of Trump, based on his history of liberal positions, his lack of understanding of social and constitutional conservatism, and his blustering, bloviating boorishness.

Then there is the fact that Cruz isn't winning and they would HATE anyone who was beating Cruz.

I don't hate Trump. I don't hate Carson, either, who also was polling ahead of Cruz. I just don't think either one of them is fit to be President.

Further, the only polls that matter are the ones that actually choose delegates. And those are still a couple of months off. Not one vote has been cast, not one delegate has been chosen yet. All the candidates are tied at zero.

Not obtuse. You wanted a example, and I gave you a very specific one. Then you claimed i still didn’t. Are you saying I was lying?

I have no doubt that if Trump is truly squeaky clean when it comes to skeletons in the closet, the Uniparty will make up something and try and make it stick. Several times a day.

Remember, Romney didn’t pay taxes according to what a little bird told Dingy Harry. That’s the sort of mud they sling when it’s a contest between two sides of the same coin.

Just imagine the Hell they’ll unleash on an outsider.

Where in Chicago did you grow up?

I lived there and whether or not you believe me, some Chicagoans do NOT like New Yorkers ( and no it wasn't that they didn't like me, they had/have what I call the SECOND CITY COMPLEX ! ), nor do some posters on FR like New York/New Yorkers !

Carson has NO business running for president; that's true.

OTOH....yes, Trump does and his positions, NOW, are VERY Conservative !

I am saying that you did NOT supply an answer that measured up to the names that Trump supporters have been called.

I gave VERY specific examples and you ignored them and posted someone else's post, that did NOT contain the equivalent.

You’re correct, but Trump isn’t Romney and he isn’t being paid/or whatever, to be the designated “LOSER”, this time around.
