'Prepare Yourself': Terror Expert Says Fighting ISIS Now 'Up to American People'
Gutfeld: The 4 Things America Needs to Do to Defeat ISIS
Lt. Col. Ralph Peters (Ret.) told Bill O'Reilly tonight that President Obama's press conference after a G-20 summit in Turkey today in the wake of the Paris terror attacks showed that the U.S. and our allies are in deep trouble.
At one point, the president called Friday's attacks a "setback" but touted the current strategy that is in place to combat ISIS in Syria.
Peters asserted that the only president on the American continent who has done more damage than Obama was Jefferson Davis, the president of the Confederate States of America.
"It is just beyond delusional. This guy is so arrogant and, at the same time, so sensitive," Peters said. "He cannot admit he's ever wrong. And boy, is he wrong and has been wrong about Islamist terror."
Peters said one of Obama's biggest blunders in the fight against ISIS has been letting our enemies know that we won't attack cities, as that encouraged militants to occupy more populated areas.
"You cannot, cannot make war without collateral damage and civilian casualties," Peters said. "What he's done, he's saved a handful of lives and, as you observed in your Talking Points, condemned millions of people to subjugation, torture, torment, kidnapping, rape, murder, refugee status."

A GOOD START.
Obama does not care what Peters or anyone else thinks.
What’s with the Jefferson Davis remarks?
Agree or not, they were saying JD was the only Prez. as bad as Obama... more or less.
Yep, I caught that bit.
In trying to be sensitive in not causing Collateral Damage and hitting Civilians, we condemn millions to suffering because that means ISIS doesn’t get hit as badly.
He was saying, The only president in American history who possibly did more damage to the country was Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederacy.
Changes everything...IMO.
“You cannot, cannot make war without collateral damage and civilian casualties,” Peters said. “What he’s done, he’s saved a handful of lives and, as you observed in your Talking Points, condemned millions of people to subjugation, torture, torment, kidnapping, rape, murder, refugee status.”
Yes, this was on O’Reilly, people can catch the rebroadcasts.
Peters is exactly right. With good intentions the policies of liberals/Progressives always result in more suffering than would have occurred if nothing had been done. Thinking they are compassionate liberals always engage in Idiot Compassion.
EXACTLY WHY I have so oft stated that we MUST use nuclear weapons against Muslim cities. We need to make an example that will strike a brutally cold fear into the hearts of ALL Muslims, everywhere across the entire globe.
If they are, by merciless example, made understand that we WILL slaughter them by the MILLIONS, TENS of MILLIONS, or even HUNDREDS of MILLIONS, then those remaining will not be so willing to wage their jihad or assist such endeavors in any way. They do not respect life - and so we should grant them their wish to a quick exit.
To hell with what other nations think about us doing so, we must make examples of several Islamic cities by obliterating them and their entire populations from the face of the Earth.
Say what! I just checked the civil war battles. Most of the battles were fought in the South defending against the Northern invasion.
A couple in of Confederate invasions of the North, Ohio, Pennsylvania and in several of the slave states the Union seized to prevent them from joining the South.
Several Indian fights in the west.

So it sounds like Lincoln did more damage than Davis did.
What reference to Jefferson Davis did you uncover in my comments?
I absolutely agree but there’s no way you’ll be finding nuclear weapons in any arsenal in a war against Muslims, I’m sorry to say, except for Israel.
Not you I was talking about Col. Peter’s absurd Davis remark
There would have been no Civil War had the southern states not seceded. And Jefferson Davis gave the order to fire on Fort Sumpter, which kicked the whole thing off. Where geographically in the US the most damage was done during the Civil War is irrelevant.
Peters' point was that no president since Jefferson Davis has done more damage to the US than Obama. And Peters was not talking in terms of lives lost or property damage. Although, if something is not done soon to stop this madness, those measures might be surpassed also.
What was absurd about his Jefferson Davis remark? I thought it was profound.
