I just remember chewing on the parts of the arms that stuck into the torso (they tasted different). Four year olds aren't particularly interested in that other stuff.

Have to admit....that one they came out with in the 70’s where you turned it’s arm and it grew boobs did kinda fascinate me.

"Boys have always played with Barbie." Have to agree. Growing up in the 60's, the neighbor girl across the street was named Barbie. We began "playing" at about 14.
I know that I "played with a Barbie" off and on for several years.
