College Libs: Remembering 9/11 Promotes Islamophobia
Patriot News Daily ^ | 11/13/2015

Is there a major university in this country that has not been crippled by anti-American, anti-conservative, anti-common-sense philosophy? What we're seeing on these campuses is worse than your everyday, garden-variety liberalism. We're seeing a new radical movement that echoes the Vietnam protest era.

Except there isn't any war.

And there isn't any rational cause.

Be that as it may, these kids are thirsty for drama. At the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, the student government voted down a proposal to commemorate the anniversary of 9/11 because opponents believe it will engender Islamophobia.

If only the dangers of engendering Islamophobia had been chief in the minds of the 19 hijackers, there might not be so much of it these days.

"The passing of this resolution might make a space that is unsafe for students on campus even more unsafe," said student government representative David Algadi. "Islamophobia and racism fueled through that are alive and well."

How can you even talk about "safe spaces" in the same breath as you're discussing 9/11? Algadi is talking about whether or not Muslims feel comfy on the University of Minnesota campus. Whether they feel respected. Whether they will fit in perfectly with their peers. And meanwhile, we're talking about a mass murder that stole the lives of 3,000 people. This kid doesn't know the first thing about safety.

Further demonstrating his ignorance, he asked the student newspaper, "When will we start having moments of silence for all of the times white folks have done something terrible?"

Well, you have to shut up in order to have a moment of silence, and that's something you and your liberal kind seem unable to do.

If Muslims on campus could take the temperature of things, they would see a resolution like this for the opportunity that it is. An opportunity to come and speak out against the evils of radical Islam. American Muslims and moderate Muslims worldwide have been woefully silent in the years since 9/11. Why is that? Why aren't they among the most vicious and relentless critics of ISIS, Al Qaeda, and the rest of these evil organizations?

To say it's because they secretly support them would probably be going a step too far, but it is certain that they do not see them as you or I see them. They may not approve of what happened on September 11, but do they approve of Palestinians knifing Jews in Jerusalem? They may not approve of what just happened in Paris, but is there any part - any part - of them that says, "Well, that's why the West should get their military off holy ground"?

But this is largely beside the point, because this isn't even about Muslims versus everyone else. This is about liberal kids who haven't had a day of struggle in their entire lives looking desperately for something that will make them feel like they are part of a cause.

Funny thing is, that's exactly the kind of people ISIS attracts.

This is called the burning issue trap. The burning issue trap is the belief that there are compelling social issues that require your participation. Some people feel good inside by pathologically enslaving themselves by assuming a responsibility to observe, judge, and correct any social problems.

There is utter confusion of people in college that have not had to struggle in their lives. The problems is that they don’t understand the real world and thus don’t comprehend the difference between real and theoretical problems.

2 weekends ago, I was a birthday party - and talked to a very nice grad student in Math. He was genuinely interested in world affairs - but had no real experiences. So what he really knows comes from formal/informal campus discussions.

So very concerned about inclusion etc. and seemingly less worried about people around the world struggling to put food on the table. He just did not understand real poverty around the world and real struggles.

He needs to be shook out of this mindset. But that wont happen

A 'phobia' is an irrational fear.

There's nothing irrational about fearing about having one's head cut off for not holding a certain sick belief.

It's time to bring back the draft, cancel all deferments for these 'special snowflakes', and ship them to Syria so they can set up 'safe spaces' for the poor misunderstood jihadi victims of 'Islamophobia'.

Just explain to them in very simple uneducated terms what real fascism and intolerance is. Obliviously their school failed to teach them even the most basic critical thinking skills required to recognize what they themselves are doing is no different than what fascist of the past have done to aggressively destroy and suppress any other point of view.

They failed to learn this skill of introspection the same way they failed to learn about the diversity of views being necessarily mutually exclusive. In a world of people as thin-skinned as themselves it is entirely impossible to avoid offending anyone.

if your going to react with fascism and history burning to that offence your going to live in a very fascist and intolerant place.

Call your reps and tell them not one Syrian refugee is to be admitted to the USA.

You do not want another 9/11.

You do not want another Paris ...this time on our soil.

For the morons in DC who say we need to take our fair share of refugees, our fair share was 7,000 dead men and women killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, and 50,000 wounded warriors.

That was our fair share.

The Arabs with all their oil money can take care of their brothers.

Not our problem.

Make the call. It is time the jerks in DC are reminded who the bosses of this country really are.

It will all change after the leftists have completed their destruction of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

A benevolent strongman like Pinochet will come along and many of the loony left will turn up missing.

When the walls of ivy come tumbling down as a result of a massive bomb....that will be the wake up call.

Remembering 9/11 Promotes Islamophobia ...

... and for damn good reason, eh?
Especially given that the Islimes continue murdering innocent people all over the globe while being coddled by the disgraceful United States commander-in-chief, too stupid and ignorant to recognize that the first "I" in the self-named ISIS stands for Islamic, and who also, according to recent revelations, has been refusing to read intelligence reports on Islamic terrorism.
Personally, I also have College Lib-phobia ... a thoroughly detestable lot.
