The mother of a Paris suicide bomber says her son 'did not mean to kill anyone' - and claims he may have blown himself up because of stress.

Ibrahim Abdeslam, 31, launched a solo attack outside the cafe Comptoir Voltaire, close to the scene of the Bataclan concert hall massacre on Friday night. His brother Mohamed Abdeslam, """a former council worker""", was arrested in Molenbeek in western Brussels, a day after the attacks in the French capital, in which at least 129 were killed and hundreds more were injured. Police missed their chance to bring in the third brother, Salah, when he was questioned as he crossed the border to Belgium after the attacks. He is now the object of a massive international manhunt. (NOW CAUGHT AS ABOVE PHOTO SHOWS)

Today their mother defended Ibrahim, suggesting his suicide jacket may have gone off by accident and said he could have carried out the attack because he was 'stressed'

Inside Jihadi Central:....Building Muslim States within states.....

Belgian district of Molenbeek is a a breeding ground for radical Islam where military weapons can be bought in just half an hour.

Police have made a series of arrests in Molenbeek linked to Paris attacks.....Mayor of Brussels suburb describes it as a 'breeding ground for violence'.....The neighbourhood has been repeatedly linked to terror plots in the past

Metro Station in Molenbeek... Molenbeek, a borough of 90,000 where some neighbourhoods were up to 80% Muslim,...it's very difficult to get feedback from the community. That means while the neighbours may have seen something going on, they're not passing it to the police.

a Molenbeek connection keeps coming up in cases of Islamist attacks in Europe going back at least to the 2004 train bombings in Madrid, where one of those jailed for planning them was a Moroccan from the borough.

Over little more than a year, it has figured repeatedly. In August 2014, a Frenchman of Algerian origin was living there when he gunned down four people at Brussels' Jewish Museum. In January, when Belgian police killed two men in the eastern town of Verviers, foiling what they said was a plot to kidnap and behead a policeman on camera, many leads led back to Molenbeek.

French police investigating after the shootings in January at Paris magazine Charlie Hebdo and a kosher grocery suspect one of the killers acquired guns via Molenbeek.

So too, prosecutors say, did the Spanish-based Moroccan overpowered on a Brussels to Paris train in August. He had an AK-47 and nearly 300 bullets.

'Molenbeek is a pitstop for radicals and criminals of all sorts,' said Benyaich, of the Itinera Institute. 'It's a place where you can disappear.'

So, she admits suicide jackets are in fact part of the traditional native costume of her people?
