In the wake of 9-11, almost every Democrat congressman voted for war against Afghanistan and then against Iraq.

The lesson is, Democrats vote for war when it’s obvious or they are in fear but then change to being antiwar once the threat has passed.

Exactly.Plus its usually about keeping power,the dems believe in nothing and have nothing tangible that is "positive" to run on.If being for a war gives them a constituency they will be "for a war."

Dems have an empty core.Anything that fills it to achieve power will work for them.
