ALERT FOR TONIGHT'S DNC DEBATE!
Do not watch the debate on CBS, which is a 9pm EST, lasting two hours. Watch it later online if you must. Please do this for for the sake of keeping Dem ratings DOWN! The debate will air on CBS and stream for free at www.cbsnews.com/live/. No cable subscription is necessary. CBS will also air the debate on its radio affiliates, meaning anyone with network TV, radio or Internet access can take it in.
The point is to make the Democrats' debate have low ratings. Watch it online later. Or better yet, listen to it on the radio over the air (not through the internet.) Anything done through the internet can be counted, but you are totally anonymous with broadcast radio.
Some friends have suggested some alternative activities to the Democrat debate:
- garage cleanup,
- clean the catâs litter box,
- evacuating the dogâs anal glands,
- baseball and hockey,
- split firewood,
- eating a bowl of ice cream with shaved Taliban beards mixed in,
- watch reruns of The Jack Benny Show,
- sort my socks (see featured picture),
- be in my wood shop. Pine is far more entertaining than a stage of wooden dummies.
- Thereâs some paint not drying fast enough. I need to keep an eye on it.
- In my town you can go to City Hall to support a friend of mine who is seeking permission to open an indoor pistol and rifle target range.
- Shoelaces need ironing...Maybe the socks as well, I better check.
- I'd rather come over and clean your litter box than watch it.

Why would anyone here every watch CBS? I haven't for years. In fact it has been thirty years since I watched CBS news. Dan Rather and Bil Moyers were on and they attacked relentlessly an in their CBSD news way President Reagan and I then said I would never watch them again. I admit that I did watch them on election night 1984 and 1994 just to watch that miserable maggot Dan rather squirm.

The ‘RATS are having a “debate” tonight? ROTFL! First I’ve heard anything about it. Does the “media” know? How about the voters? Do they know?

Absolutely before Thanksgiving. I like to have all my Christmas preparations done before Thanksgiving. Especially in my area when the snow starts to fly and it becomes brutally cold outside right around that time.
Then from Thanksgiving to New Year's Day, I sit by the roaring fireplace with a good book and a mug of ale and get to admire all the twinkling lights around me.

Ugh. I don’t want to know! Thank goodness my German Shepherd does not require that because she would be out of luck.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. At least half of the population think these guys are great, while we fight among ourselves over one issue or the other.
To: MUDDOG
It won’t matter what poetry. He’ll have a dumbfounded look on his face wondering what the hell I’m talking about much like I would have if I were to watch the debate.
