Itâs not ridiculous- itâs just too late. The Obama precedent has made place of birth, citizenship, and natural-born status all irrelevant. Just like ridiculous interpretations of the 14th amendment created a right to abortion, gay marriage, and bans on prayer in public schools, so too has the original intent been distorted into something that was never intended.
But this is the world we live in now.

True. If Obama was eligible to serve as president (a person who could claim citizenship in as many as four different nations by the age of 10), then just about anybody is. The NBC requirement for presidential eligibility is now a matter of past practice.
