I have a german friend who is pretty right-wing for a German, and he constantly goes on about the US attacking middle-east muslim countries and provoking them, while at the same time complaining about "immigrants" who don't want to assimiliate into german culture.

He doesn't seem to connect the 2 things.

He is fiercely proud of German culture, though, and I don't think it will take much on the part of new immigrants to provoke him and others in Germany to fight back.

We'll see, I guess.

I heard that yesterday from a couple of Kazakhstan or Kyrgyzstan guys (I couldn't understand which) who built my new shed (were true refugees). I do not know how much truth there is to it. About everything else, though, including the current immigrant cultural jihad into Europe, they were 100% right on.
