Problem with that is when the ads do load they shift the content around and you cant read it because its moving.
What happened to the old respectful “Brought to you by” meme. An ad like that wouldn’t block because the sponsor would be hosted by the same server as the material being sponsored. And there would be some cooperation between the content provider and the advertiser so the result did not come across as chaotic. The likely result, an order of magnitude higher click rate, especially if clicks raised panels that requested to open new windows.
