Online ads take bandwidth. In limited bandwidth situations, that steals money from the consumer. This is much the same as spam faxes.

Spam faxes are illegal.

Further, this is the media complaining that their customers aren’t cooperating in their revenue schemes. Much like consumers are not buying their printed bullstuff.

Like it matters to those who send them. My experience is that they all come from off-shore locations abetted by lines that AT&T supplies them. I got mad at one guy who was “selling cruises” from Cancun. Mexico. He actually told me to GFMyself that he was untouchable. Needless to say, I didn’t book a cruise.
