Probably so. Americans believe in the power of redemption through Jesus. It's no reach at all.
Redemption means forgiveness for our sins which we commit on a daily basis. We continue to sin and dont stop sinning because we are redeemed but rather we are forgiven. For example, Alcoholism doesnt stop because one is saved and its a constant fight. The Lord has forgiven Carson but doesn’t mean his pathological tendencies have been removed.
