The Charlie Hebdo Terrorists thought they could get away from the French “Keystone Cops” too. They wound up DEAD! You know NOTHING about the capabilities of the French.

There have been long stretches of history when the French - or the Franks, if you want to go back a ways - were master practitioners in the the arts of "bad-assery." Still, I don't know if they have enough of any sort of "national will" left to take on anyone these days, let alone the Islamists. Certainly their current political leadership gives one little hope that they are inclined to be serious about such things.

Quite frankly, I wonder if WE have any “national will” left. Certainly, our leadership has thrown in the towel as far as the Muslims go.
