The “smart bomb” wars have to end and the “carpet bomb” wars need to begin.
This is kind of like the way things deteriorated for the Israelites in their later, decadent years, and the narrative keeps on going... they STILL wouldn’t worship God...
Even France, at one point, was known at least for nominal worship. Lots of cathedrals. But they became too smart and urbane for that, or so they thought.
