Trump stumbles when it comes to things seriously Christian. He might be a weak believer, but the effect comes off worldly. Like for a “church” that is a club, not a focus upon a supernatural miracle working Lord.
Carson is a Christian with some weird doctrinal leanings but the thing that prevails in his life is a saving Christ. Yes even the SDA folks have gotten that right.
Trump might stand to be less involved with Starbucks coffee cup colors at Christmastime, and more with the miracles wrought by God (which Carson, in fact, would do well to feature explicitly... confessing that yes, in himself he IS a loser, but that has been swallowed up in God’s victory).
I’ll agree with you that Carson appears more outwardly Christian than Trump, but only the Lord knows the mind and the heart.
