The terrorist attack at the stadium could have been worse if the suicide bomber would have detonated the bomb inside the stadium instead of outside. It may be possible that the bomb detonated prematurely or that security measures are set up to trigger explosives to go off outside of the stadium.
An account I read said the bomber was detained by security, and detonated it as he was attempting to escape them :/
