It is weird because I have been doing that but I’m trying not to shop for dinner. I would go grocery shopping every 2 days and I feel weird for doing that.

Good for you - every little bit helps. An extra can of veggies, some ramen, you can stockpile things that will last pretty easily a little at a time. I found tuna on sale for $.59/can and bought 12.
