I was too young to be there but I heard San Miguel was good beer.

Wasn’t there a beer that was rumored to have formaldehyde in it?

I recall the same rumors in Vietnam. Supposedly formaldehyde was some sort of anti bursting agent. That is, when the beer was in some deep hot hold of a cargo ship, bouncing on the seas, the beer was less likely to explode.

I do know the beer in Vietnam had a totally different taste, so some sort of preservative was put in it.

I heard San Miguel was good beer.....I spent 18 mos. at Clarke and had at least 1000 San Magoos. Never had two that tasted alike.
