Fox Business channel host Neil Cavuto challenged college student Keely Mullen, an organizer for the âMillion Student March,â leaving her at a loss for words on how to explain paying for a plethora of âfreeâ programs.
Calling it an âequitable and fair system,â Mullen listed the groupâs grievances with the education system in America, stating:
âSo the three core demands of the national day of action are free public college, a cancellation of student debt, and a 15 dollar an hour minimum wage â um â for people who work on the campus.â Cavuto then pressed the panhandling millennial, asking her âhowâs that gonna be paid?â After a moment of dead air time, Mullen responded, saying:
âUm, great question. I mean, you know â so, Iâm not sure if youâre talking about like on a national level or particular schools. I can sort of touch on both.â Cavuto interjected, asking her who would âpick up the tabâ for all of her free demands. She insisted âthe one percentâ should foot the bill.
The conversation only got more tense from there. When Mullen told Cavuto that wealthy Americans should pay 90% of their income in taxes, he suggested that could result in drastic changes for the American economy:
âLetâs say you tax them â theyâre smart folks these people â these one percent hoarders right? So they leave here, then whoâs gonna pay for all this stuff that you want?â Mullen, left in disbelief that top-earning individuals would move their resources outside the U.S. under the burden of a 90% income tax rate, said:
âI mean thereâs always gonna be a one percent in the U.S. As she put it, the U.S. is a âbastion of um â um of capitalism and success.â
Indeed.
She’s gotten too many free lunches by the looks of her.
Keely PARENTS should be SHUNNED for raising such a STUPID ASS TWIT!!
Dopes like her even in college proves that it means less and less to even go to college..they obviously will let in anyone these days
These idiots major in gender studies and wonder why they can’t get a job
She attended the most expensive private school in San Diego. Then on too an expensive school in Boston. She is part of the 1%.
Ideology trumps logic for these people. Even after everything goes bankrupt, they still want more. Cavuto tried to bring her back to realism with Greece, but she wasn’t buying it.
They named her Keely, clearly shame is not something they are familiar with.
So why is Keely "Snowflake" Mullen, like, wanting free college, loan forgiveness & $15.00 minimum wage for the slugs that have to work and go to skewl.
"Hey Look Mom & Dad!! ...going on national TV to make a fool of myself!"
They’ve been letting anyone in since many schools expanded during the Vietnam War (to accommodate draft dodgers). Private schools in particular have sunk the furthest; any high school classmates rejected by state schools went to private colleges for at least a year before re-applying to the state schools...
I’m waiting for one of these idiots to ask obama to just print more money and give it to them. Yay! Problem solved! Who needs the 1% when we can make all the money we want?
This video will be right up there with The Miss South Carolina/Teen USA video.
Good laughs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
.
At what point do these people think they become responsible for their education, healthcare, reproduction, etc etc?
“Keely PARENTS should be SHUNNED for raising such a STUPID ASS TWIT!!”
Yes! I think you are on to something, here! There was a time not so long ago where undesirable behavior was rewarded with shunning. It might be worthwhile to bring this back again.
Cavuto should have asked her if she had donated any of her better-than average grades to less fortunate others.
Dopes like her are taught by dopes like her. The whole system is crashing down into a minority mill of mediocrity.
Another good answer is to state you are OK with fifteen bucks an hour, as long as it is payed to people who didn’t work for it.
After all, that is exactly what they are demanding of the so-called “one percent”.
If you think the college entrance standards are low now, wait until college is FREE for everyone. (/s)
