From my six years at FW Parker in the 1960’s, they have three types of students: Scholarships (like me), Rich and Extremely Rich. There were a lot of bright kids and a fair number of not-so-bright-but rich kids.
The kids with multi-million dollar trust funds make up the majority. They don’t face life the way that middle class people do. They never have to worry about money and can afford any luxury they want.
It was a great place to learn, back in the day. Now it is a $40K per year indoctrination center.
