Rush played comments of Newt Gingrich, today, with Newt wailing the GOPe line about families being broken up and so on, if illegals were deported, and claiming that because of that, the deportations would never really occur. I generally like Newt, but this had me ready to puke.
Rush saved my stomach though, by pointing out that if average US CITIZENS break the law, they are (usually / eventually) apprehended and punished without great regard to the effect on their families. I’d normally consider Newt the superior debater, but in this instance, Rush blew Newt out of the water.
I would add to Rush’s comments that Presidents Truman and Eisenhower deported millions, and the world did not end. (I also have no problem with assisting illegals in transporting their families back to Mexico, and if Mexico won’t accept intact families of their own citizens, then who is being coldhearted, anyway?)

Wow. Newt said that???
Good for Rush.
The entire 2012 presidential field except Santorum was weak on illegal immigration. We see Gingrich was also doing the bidding for his sugar daddies.
Newt’s ALWAYS been an open border fraud.
Thank God for Rush... he's stopping the drama queens dead in their tracks.
