It’s obvious you haven’t seen the scope of his movies over many many years!
He can bring tears with just a small look, or a catch in his voice.
He loved America!....He was a man’s man!....and a great actor!
You can’t argue with these people. I’ve been the Duke’s biggest booster here for many years. Many of the people who supported me and attacked me are long gone, I fear. Check out my home page which was written at least 6 years ago (except for the new edition).

I never saw any emotion out of him that did not look pained. His delivery did not vary from roles as a cowboy, a chinaman, or and Irishman.
I agree the formula worked to make him and his studios a ton of money.
Why can’t someone say they don’t like an actor? It’s not like I am saying I voted for Hillary or something.
