Hey, imagine what you want if it makes you happy. But I can easily judge people on their knowledge of film or their lack of knowledge. You revealed yourself ignorant immediately with suspecting that a private comment of the Duke was written by some unknown left-wing writer. You thought it was cute without knowing that a fellow freeper was reading it with far more knowledge than you had in your brain pan.
Can you name which one wrote the Duke’s remark? Trumbo? Riskin? Manchowitz?
Then you went on to make cliched comments about his acting which would embarrass Garry Wills, for Pete’s sake.

I don’t go on engineering threads or plumbing threads because I know nothing about it, but, for some reason, everyone thinks they can give their opinion on the art of acting without knowing anything about it. Puzzling, to say the least.
