....Donald Trump blasted the recent University of Missouri protests, which he called "disgraceful," during a Thursday-morning interview on Fox Business Network.

"I think it's disgusting. I think it's disgusting," the Republican presidential candidate began when asked about the university....

"....the two people that resigned are weak, ineffective people," he said. "I think that when they resigned, they set something in motion that's going to be a disaster for the next long period of time. They were weak, ineffective people."

Trump added: "Trump should have been the chancellor of that university. Believe me, there would have been no resignations."

Right, you’re so far out you’re in.

Right, you’re so far out you’re in.

While you meant that as snark, you're actually correct. In April of 2011 I was published praising Trump for his tone, his aggressiveness, his ability to talk like a real person and not a politician, and his fearlessness in going after Obama. I even said he was pointing the way for Republican victory. I also warned that the man harbors long time liberal big government knee jerk tendencies.....and thus, was not the answer.

I stand by that today. I say without fear of contradiction that you've had no such prescience regarding Trump. You were no doubt some 4 years plus figuring out his positives...and the clock's still ticking on you catching up to the rest. But I'm always early to the party.

How do you know I meant it to be snarky? Regardless, for some reason I am reminded of a Seinfeld episode where George is on the Manhattan streets and a guy asks him to watch his suitcase, and does not come back for a long time. George is mistaken as a tourist by a woman who works the visitor center, and she tells George that NY will eat him alive. He then tries to impress her with how successful he is in NY, and ends up getting fired by the Yankees in a trade to Tyson chicken, and ends up having to strip off the tourists clothes in a bar, ending in only his boxers.

I love a good Seinfeld reference.....but actually, the difference in Costanza and I is that I actually am “the architect” (on this issue) he dreams about pretending to be.....

You are both the same in that you are always trying to impress.

Actually, no - I’m trying to simply point out that my arguments have inherent credibility because history has proven me correct and prescient and ahead of the curve.

If I were a mutual fund, I’d have crushed the street averages for 25 years or so. That’s history, period.

What you are saying is that even if you are wrong now, it doesn’t matter because you were right before. I think pride goes before the fall.

No, what I’m saying is that I was right in 2011 and still right in 2015. One day, you’ll catch up. Maybe. But reality is reality.

And also what I’m saying is that I was right way way way ahead of you.

I’ll listen to The Donald about running a University when he manages it.
