Looking for a spine at a University is like looking for an honest person in the Halls of Congress.
Academia needs more leaders like Sam Hayakawa, the English professor who rose to the presidency of San Francisco State University and faced down the campus radicals in 1968-1969. When radicals students shouted "Ho! Ho! Ho Chi Minh!" conservative students, including members of the Young Americans for Freedom would yell back, "Hi! Hi! Hayakawa!"
