Comes to mind....
I think the people who thought Trump was some unstoppable juggernaut are in for a rude shock between now and Iowa. And when that happens, things are going to get ugly - there are a lot of Trump followers that are very emotionally attached to him.
I noticed that Bret Baier last night on Fox said that Cruz won. He was the only one I think who outright gave the win to Cruz. I think a few of them said “Rubio and Cruz” were the winners, which translates to “Cruz.”
Looks like we might have a scientific one out: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3358979/posts
Bump
“Wishful thinking.
And complete ignorance of how Cruz campaigns. To win.”
Ok, whatever.
I rather hear how I’m wrong. But if this knowledge is well-understood, then I’ll be surprised to see whatever I’m not, actually work.
I’ve just been looking at the pattern of post-debate euphoria from Cruz supporters, and then the subsequent surveys showing him virtually in the same place, and almost no media coverage, and trying to find the strategy.
But Cruz campaigns “To win”, so I suppose that is the magic....I guess.
Excellent!
Your birtherism BS and your conspiracy theories are all over FR. You spend the majority of your time here slobbering about Cruz.
Use your drool rag and have the stones to own what you post, birther.
Yep. Cruz definitely opened a can if whoop ass on Kasich in that regard A beautiful thing to behold.
My are you in for a surprise then. Cruz about to open the bomb bay doors with major media buys all timed perfectly ... the guy’s smart and has capable people around him. He has not made one misstep, yet.
Glenn’s not dead and neither is Cruz ... I believe he’s in it to win it.
I’m not a Trump hater at all... he’s brought life and energy to this campaign season... but his supporters don’t even watch the debates before they go and vote for him.
It’s a farce. Trump didn’t have a bad night. He was Trump. He was mostly ignored as was Cruz, but Cruz took excellent opportunities with his few chances and really made an impression.
Agree ... couldn’t get the channel here (in Maui) but followed every word of the thread.
I was better off. Other people had to get sick watching Kasich. Other people were able to tell me how badly Jeb did.
I was able to see clips later of the great Ted Cruz moments. I didn’t have to look at Carly.
It was a win, win situation.
I’m currently a Trump supporter but would happily switch to Cruz if he show signs of being able to win the nomination. I am still befuddled by all the apparent support for Carson but I feel that Carson is a parking lot for those still on the fence for a non traditional candidate like Trump or Cruz. The encouraging thing is that GOPe candidate Jebbie Bush is languishing in mid single digits and is being utterly rejected by the rank and file conservatives.
I don’t see Marco Rubio being a serious threat. He screams lightweight establishment pol.
It’s down to Trump or Cruz in my opinion.
You Marxists have been trying (and sadly succeeding) to devalue American citizenship for years. If Cruz sets the precedent that all that is necessary is that one parent has a US passport than there are millions of new NBC in every country in the world. How about all those new NBC in Vietnam with GI dads dido Germany and Japan. Or even better all the new NBC in places like Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Iran. Rich Arabs like American trophy wives. Yassar Arafats' child is now a NBC if Cruz is. Somehow I don't think that is what our founders had in mind. Just another step in the many many steps to null and void our constitution and the "great conservative Cruz" is all for it.
