I thought it was 100k. Didn’t know it was now 250k. BUt that’s the answer for depositors. You put 5 million in one bank you’re taking risk.

I think they raised it to 250K in ‘08, then brought it back to 100K.

If a BofA fails, that’s a lot of money, but the answer is: $4T in bank reserves via the Fed.
