Change it. Don’t compare Cruz to Obama. Compare him to Perry. What happened to Perry?

The difference is that everyone knew Perry wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer. But Cruz IS the smartest guy in the room. He will be hurt more from folks perceiving him as “too smart” than stupid.
