The two Republican presidential debates on the Fox Business Network are scheduled for 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. EST tonight. They are being held at the Milwaukee Theater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The 'kiddie table'at 7 p.m.: Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum.
The main event at 9 p.m.: Donald Trump of New York, Dr. Ben Carson of Florida, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina of California, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul.
FBN described the debates and moderators:
The first debate will be one hour in length and moderated by FBN anchors Trish Regan, Sandra Smith & WSJ's Washington Bureau Chief Gerald Seib.
The second debate will span two hours and be moderated by FBN anchors Maria Bartiromo, Neil Cavuto and WSJ Editor-in-Chief Gerard Baker.
The debates will focus on the most important business and economic issues facing the United States including job creation, social security and taxes.
Yes, clearly Rubio has memorized sound bites. It’s old school. We are sick to death of canned speeches after Obama.
He wasn’t asked that. He was asked if he would bail out BoA and he answered NO. The issue with deposits and how they will be affected is not conditional on a bailout. Bailouts for banks are there to stop contagion in the financial markets and aare FDIC protected (up to $100k).

The only part of Ike’s process mentioned by Trump was shipping back 1.5m. He did NOT mention that the rest self deported. Further, Trump did not mention ion E-verify. Trump needs to dig deeper on this topic.

It seems to me Trump and Paul have made peace with each other. It appeared they subtly colluded with each other.

He really hasn't had much of a chance until tonight, and the media started ragging on him about his father and Cuba, didn't stop to catch their breath (or apologize) after trashing Carson.
Today WAPO had an article about a child support of Carson where he refused to take a DNA test. Sensationalism or tabloid crap. The suit was dropped. You can go read about it. But can't help wondering how perfect the guy is.
Apparently not and I find the whole thing weird.

Rubio is very tiresome and repetitive. He talks too fast and seems to have all his answers memorized. Looks like the panel is trying to help make him look good.
