A federal appeals court late Monday refused to allow one of President Obama's signature amnesty proposals to move forward. The court’s decision is a major victory for the rule of law.
In a split 2-to-1 decision, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit denied the Obama administration's emergency request to lift a lower court's injunction on an initiative to defer the deportations of illegal immigrants and grant them work permits.
