It is not the baby Adolf that was the problem. It was the person he developed into. It was also the doofuses worldwide that helped him. It was a vile evil, but minus Hitler it very well may have reared its ugly head in another way. If not, then the evil that allowed him to rise would have remained and festered and become who knows what monster.

It is easy to say you would just kill the leader and somehow imply that antisemitism would have then not existed. But it would have. Better to say you would go back in time and fight the evil sooner. Stop it. Change his childhood. Change the minds of those who supported him. etc.

Why pick on a baby of any sort? That makes no sense. So what does that make Bush, the pre-crime candidate?

The concept sounds like something in the Koran. Surah 18, verses 74-75 and 80-81 tells of “one of (Allah’s) servants” that Musa (Moses) traveled with, and one of the things the unnamed servant did was to kill a young boy, which shocked Moses; later on, the “servant” of Allah explained that the boy was killed so that he would not shame his parents who were Muslims, and that Allah would then replace him with another son who would adhere to Islam.

Certainly not a Christian concept. The slain boy was portrayed as having no free will.
