I’m glad she is doing better and fought back but, sorry, I cannot imagine this slight thing as a combat medic.
I was joking with my 6 foot 4 friend (No, he is not fat, 12% body fat) a few years ago when San Francisco was bragging about their first all female firehouse. I was imagining him in a burning building and with all the girls holding the trap like thing they used to have people jump into, him falling and the force of impact ripping the device from their hands, which slowed him enough so he doesn’t die but just receives a few good injuries.
I cannot buy the girls can do anything mantra.
I sure do not fault her shooting. It is a tough thing to shoot well when being shot at.
She had her baby there. Makes a big difference.
“I cannot buy the girls can do anything mantra.”
Nor do I. We women can do many things. We cannot do everything, however. The same goes for men.
this nurse had a huge patient, 500 pounds that she had to turn, position, clean, feed, etc...
when it came time for this 500 pounder to be transferred to a different hospital, FIVE burly firemen came into to move him....all men of course....but FIVE....
women are not as strong as men but somehow, we manage....
