This week, Ben Carson has outed himself. Not on the stupid lies told by the MSM, but on TPP and Puerto Rico statehood, and on amnesty, too. Conservatives are left with only two choices, Cruz and Trump. Can Cruz withstand the focus if he is the only one out there for the MSM and the GOPe to attack with their combined forces? I doubt it. I am very glad that Trump is out there, I think he can shut down the GOPe and attract a high percentage of minorities and blue collar types.

If you told me Cruz or Trump, pick one for President, I would go with Cruz, no question. No greater intellect, no person more principled, no person with greater respect for the Constitution and the rule of law. However.....if you ask me to choose between Cruz and Trump for Republican nominee for President, that is a different matter. I would have to assess which one of the two acceptable candidates has a better chance to win. That is a different proposition. Now, if you could just get Trump to join with Cruz, that would be the best of all worlds.
