Can we trade New England to Canada for some oil contracts?

The original idea was to trade them the "Boston States" in a straight-up swap for the Yukon or BC .... but then we needed to have someplace to dump the Californians and whatever you call Seattle Democrats.

It would create all sorts of interesting problems. Like, what do you do with Mexicans living in California and Texas? Trade them to the Gulf Cartel for the Baja and a few islands to be named later?

On the other hand, you'd have to beg the Canadians to take New England and .... Chappaqua.

Plus, you'd have to move three or four Ivy League campuses to New England (Cornell, Princeton, maybe Penn). And I'd make any U.S. citizen who matriculated in an Ivy give up his U.S. passport and become a "stateless person". Just throwing that in.
