I counseled Texas FReepers to vote third-party strategically ..... let Mittens (or Manor Bush) carry Texas by a hair-raisingly slender percentage, and maybe one of those GOP-e blimps would fire up a brain cell, that Texas would put herself in play if they kept screwing with us.

Didn't happen, of course. Conservatives dislike "strategic voting" -- it smacks of liberal self-abasement.
