“Cruz is really the ideal person to be President. He has the degrees, legislative, legal experience, and has proved that he can win elections.

He supports free trade and low taxes which causes economic growth. He has always been pro life a strong believer and supports traditional values.”

I agree with your synopsis of Cruz and I would add that he is passionate about the Constitution, he has been involved/schooled in Conservative principles since he was a kid. I found some great info here, http://www.theoutsidercandidates.com/TED-CRUZ.html

From the link, “Cruz attended high school at Faith West Academy in Katy, Texas, and later graduated from Second Baptist High School in Houston as valedictorian in 1988. During high school, Cruz participated in a Houston-based group called the Free Market Education Foundation where he learned about free-market economic philosophers such as Milton Friedman, Friedrich Hayek, Frédéric Bastiat and Ludwig von Mises. The program was run by Rolland Storey and Cruz entered the program at the age of 13.

If Conservatives will get behind him instead of “settling” for Trump or Carson he will be the best President since Reagan.

So true. Cruz is another Reagan.

But, unlike Reagan he doesn’t seem to have the warm personality.

I worry that Cruz may not have enough appeal with the low info types.

A black man might pull it off.
